In particular, the core of our activity focuses on the design and construction management of various types of structures and infrastructures for industrial clients, with projects in departments of all kinds: steel mills, rolling mills, foundries, forging plants, mechanical processing and finishing departments, substations, outdoor areas, and more.

Our services range from the design of production facilities, office buildings, or structures with specific technical purposes — whether in reinforced concrete or steel — to the modification or strengthening of existing structures, including seismic retrofitting and load capacity upgrades, while also handling building and structural permitting and, when requested, site safety coordination.

We design structures and foundations for all types of industrial plants. Completed projects include planchers, walkways, casting and slag pits, high-load storage areas, technical cabins, chimney supports, crane runways, noise abatement walls, new decks, lamination and treatment basins, retaining walls, as well as the design or verification of bays, lifting beams, special steel structures, footings, and existing warehouses.

Among the foundations we have designed for industrial machinery and entire production lines, notable examples include foundations for continuous casting machines, presses, manipulators, various types of furnaces, shears, facing machines, straightening machines, wire-drawing lines, various machine tools, gantry cranes, jib cranes, and entire production departments.  We have completed both shallow and deep foundations, often involving work below the water table and utilizing techniques such as jet grouting or pile foundations.

We have also developed specific expertise in working with existing structures in operational plants, often dealing with the challenges posed by reinforcement or adaptation without halting production. We have carried out several plant revamping and crane capacity increase projects, carefully designed to be executed safely, often without clearing the work areas and without stopping the plants, by reinforcing, integrating, or replacing the structures.

Specialized in reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures — both new and existing — as well as in shallow and deep foundations, building permitting, construction management, site safety coordination, and fire safety design, we can manage structural projects from every perspective, directly handling each phase from design to execution without the need for external consultants.

Special attention is paid to interfacing with clients and equipment suppliers, ensuring that structures are specifically designed to meet the needs of the planned systems. We can develop 3D models of foundations and infrastructures to integrate them with plant designs. We also offer consulting services to optimize infrastructure layouts and basic drawings, communicating with suppliers in both Italian and English. Our experience with complex projects guarantees our ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with technical departments, maintenance teams, equipment suppliers, other professionals, and contractors involved in the projects.

Being accustomed to working in industrial environments, we understand the importance of minimizing on-site execution times to shorten production downtimes and of minimizing interference with plant operations. These factors are always taken into account during design, aiming not only to avoid structural overdimensioning but also to reduce the risk of unforeseen issues during construction, facilitate installation to minimize errors, and reduce construction times by prefabricating reinforcements when possible and specifying components and materials that are easily sourced even during production shutdowns.

Having operated in construction sites for over 45 years, we are accustomed to shaping reinforcements and components to minimize waste and ensure practical on-site execution, providing clear and detailed executive drawings to facilitate understanding. Our experience as site safety coordinators also allows us to design, where possible, with an eye toward reducing operational risks during construction phases.
